Since its establishment, Peng Cheng Laboratory (PCL) has been proactively exploring cooperation and exchanges with overseas scientific research institutions. It has maintained close relationship with scholars, scientific and technological organizations and individuals from many countries and regions including the United States, Singapore, some of the European countries, Hong Kong, and Macau.
The COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 has impacted the world in numerous ways we cannot imagine before. With the nation’s concerted efforts to fight COVID-19, the pandemic situation in China has gradually come under control. However, as the pandemic began to spread across the world in early March, it is becoming increasingly severe. The protective goods are therefore scarce amid COVID-19 crisis. The Office of International Affairs of PCL remains in close contact with the overseas research scientists, scholars and partner institutions to inquire about their needs for the protective supplies, including National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University, the Technical University of Munich, City University of Hong Kong (CityU), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Elsevier, 3GPP, SPEC, LINARO LIMITED, as well as part-time scholars outside mainland China.
Professors from the NUS, the University of Technology Sydney, and the partner institutions including the CityU and PolyU expressed their gratitude and looked forward to the future academic exchange and cooperation.

We have also received letters from overseas asking for assistance. In response to that, the Office of International Affairs immediately consulted several international couriers about the latest policies on the international shipping of the protective supplies. At that time, due to the serious pandemic risk overseas, multiple international couriers had suspended their international shipping service. We managed to timely send the protective supplies overseas with the help of PCL’s Logistic Department.

In this uncertain and difficult time, PCL has been monitoring the overseas pandemic situation and care about the health and safety of our scholars and partners at home and abroad. We are willing to join hands with scholars at home and abroad to ride out this storm. We are looking forward to meeting our international friends again in Peng Cheng Laboratory when the pandemic is all over!
